Missions
The application part of this program is missionary projects and outreaches, lots of them! We apply the Acts 1:8 vision given by Christ: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Everyday of class is followed by a time of outreach to practice what students are learning and for students to gain practical experience in missions and ministry.
During the first four weeks of class students will experience a variety of missions and ministry opportunities around the city in partnership with local churches, church plants, and organizations. The last ten weeks, students may choose to continue experiencing a variety of opportunities, or to serve with one of the opportunities already discovered.
In addition to daily outreaches, students will travel to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Tijuana for additional missions training and experience. We also offer an optional overseas week at the end of the semester.
